If Adam doesn't feel right to you, how about calling him Milton, in an homage to Paradise Lost?

pick a name that has been here for a long time, like an English name, look up names in regions like Scottish name, Irish, Greek, or what ever nationality strikes you the best. But I would reccomend, because of the summary, a old name like Peter, Edward, Harrison, John. Just an idea.

It needs to contain two syllables, so it won' be difficult to say yet still feel good in the mouth.
My first choice would be Ian.
Darin, Allen, Deter, Tomas are other possibilities.

Call him Addison which means "son of Adam" you know with the whole bible thing and him being a descedent of Adam and everything.
