most states have a couple month cool off period which I think is so stupid, 99% of the people thought about getting a divorce for more than one minute, might as well get the dang thing over with,

That all depends on everything that has to be done, regardless of where you live. Clean cut divorce.....maybe a month
not so clean cut divorce.....quite a few months.
