There are plenty of trust fund babies out there that didn't do anything for their money, not to mention people who win the lottery, so you don't necessarily need knowledge to have wealth. However, if you win your money and you don't have the smarts to manage it, you'll soon be broke again. So for most of us it would have to be knowledge before wealth.

If your asking us to chose one, I suppose most people would secretly rather have wealth. But that's the appeal of the lottery, easy money- no work required- also not realistic.

Knowledge kept to ones' self is nearly worthless. the only way to effectively spread knowledge is to have the wealth to become a figure that people will listen too, and the wealth to finance your methods of getting your knowledge out, So a good mixture is the best.

But if I had to choose... I guess wealth because that would give me the luxury to pursue knowledge.

The best is knowledge. Humans cannot live without it. With wealth, it drowns the knowledge(in some people) of their life experiences. But to knowledge, wealth is worth nothing.

i would advise you to persue knowledge before you persue wealth. both are great to have, but knowledge is free and everyone has the right to acquire it. wealth has limitations, and wealth will eventually disappoint you. here another tip: by gaining knowledge, you are more likely to gain wisdom and virtue. if wealth is what you want, it will probably be easier to get once you attain knowledge, wisdom, and virtue. and who knows, maybe after finding knowledge, the wisdom you learn from just might make you think that maybe wealth isn't everything and certainly isn't the key to happiness and true joy.

Not sure what you are asking. I assume you mean wealth in a "financial" sense and that you mean intelligence when you say knowledge.

Since these words are not conflicting, they both can be "good" or they both can be "not good".

But being financially wealthy is not always "good", nor is being intelligent always "good".

If you simply want our opinions, I believe that being intelligent is better than being financially wealthy because intelligence can be used to attain wealth. However, wealth (usually) cannot be used to attain intelligence.

However, if you are wealthy enough, you usually can hire someone to handle your intellectual needs while you devote your time to more enjoyable pursuits.
