I have done this before and I am doing it again in 2 weeks.
I dont leave till after work... which means my flight gets in Vegas time at 11pm. By the time we pick up the rental car...then stop at In-N-Out to get something to eat its closing in on 1am.
Of course we are not going to want to just check into our hotel and go to sleep becasue its VEGAS!!!
We will play poker for a few hours till the tourist fish all go to sleep... then we will play some table games (blackjack, craps, whatever fits the mood)... hopefully that will cary us till 6 or so (the adrelnalin should carry us for 5 hours).... then we will go looking for a light breakfast (some fruit, jucie, whatever for a little energy).
Then its sorta whatever hits our fancy... we'll head over towards the hotel we are staying at (Luxor) and gamble their for a bit... if we get to tired, we'll nap in the car till the earliest time they will have our room ready (which last time was about 12:15).
Then we will check in... go to our room and sleep for about 5 hours (1-6pm). Get up and party all night till 4am.
The friday night stay at the Luxor for that weekend is: $340. Seems a bit much considering we wouldnt even think of going into the room till 5am at the earliest. a 7 hour wait to save $340.
Seems worth it to me.... besides last time my best friend hit a slot for its MAX at 8:30am..... No way if we had gotten the room are we there for him to hit that MEGA payout!!!
Hope this helps.

Honestly if you can't afford a night's hotel in Vegas then you really can't afford to go to Vegas period. Vegas has the cheapest (and most expensive) hotels for a Western vacation hotspot. You'll spend way more money amusing yourself for 14+ hours since most hotels don't let you check in until mid afternoon.
When are you arriving exactly? If you're willing to stay at cheaper joints on the strip it would cost you maybe $50 max. Offstrip you can get a room for $30.
Even pricelining it will probably get you a decent room for $40 or less.
If you enjoy all-niters, then go for it, but if you don't, why make yourself suffer when vacations are about enjoying yourself? Your time is worth more than than money!
However, if you really must stay up all night, start at any nightclub in Vegas then ask the bartenders for after hours clubs. Again, you will spend way more than a room.
If you want it to be free, just go casino hopping for 10 hours and not see all of them. Check your bags in with the valet and pick them up when it's time to check in (you should tip though so that may not be for you). Casino hopping at any time is great fun and free. For cheap eats, go to hotel coffee shops. Most used to have great specials at midnight but now only the lesser hotels do.

Go to your hotel and leave your bags at the bell desk. Tip the guys a buck a bag when you pick them up later.
If you're hungry try one of the great "graveyard specials"

There are some great nightclubs/bars in LV, the above site has a list. You should be able to find one that sounds interesting. >Nightlife<
Go down to the LV Hilton and play Nickel video poker in their sports book for a few hours. Rack up a few slot club points. You might end up with a pretty good room offer from them.
Buy a 24 hour pass when you take the bus from McCarran(it's what us cheap guys do) the pass will cost you $2.50 > Ride up and down the strip a few times on the Deuce, it's gonna cost ya .50c more, that's over and above the $2.50(bummer) . The front seats on the upper level are the best for viewing the strip lights.
I'm not sure how late the Stratosphere Tower is open, but it's quite a view from up there.

Go to a bar/club and party until 6am. Grab some breakfast and then check in.
Walk around, people watch, gamble for about 6 hours and then check in.
Sleep in your car.
There should be no reason why you wouldn't be able to stay up all night in vegas!

properly you're able to do the effort-free element and in basic terms have the motel placed the room below his call. easily, I doubt it's going to be a venture the two way. as long as certainly one of you is over 21 you will get into the room one way or yet another. some motels dont even worry checking identity besides.. yet maximum do these days.
