Don't be scared .... be proactive .... go to see another doctor who will see you immediately or go the emergency ward at your local hospital. Some areas offer a Health Nurse Line where you can speak to a nurse and she will determine if you would require immediate attention.

The back pain is not necessarily part of the same problem. Perhaps you've been lifting heavy or awkward things and have strained your back. You may even have a kidney infection causing your back pain. Only you would know if it could be effects of an STD or not (but that only means medications to cure whatever it might be). Maybe you have fibroids or if you're taking birth control pills, you may require a change in dosage, etc.

So instead of trying to guess or worrying about it ... I think it's worth a trip to your nearest hospital ER. Worrying will only lower your defences and bring on a whole range of other things due to the stress.

Good luck .... and if your period has been normal up to now ... then chances are that it isn't anything too serious.

I think the Urgent Care is a good idea. Or try calling around to make another appt. Tell the Dr. office that you think you are in the middle of a miscarriage. But, I don't think its that serious to have you go to the Emergency Room, to pay $2000. Just tell the office you need to come in now, most places will not hesitate.

I agree that you should certainly go to the ER. I personally experienced those symptoms myself for over a month and ended up having a ectopic pregnancy which ruptured before it was detected. (This certainly may not be the situation.) However, I believe it is certainly too big of a risk to take. When it comes to your health, you can never be too cautious!

if you are able to conceive then you may have either an ectopic pregnancy which is a medical emergency or emerging/impending spontaneous abortion which is not but does require medical attention asap. get a pregnancy test. either of the above conditions would show a positive result! and if positive either go to the e.r. or call you doctor with your results and symptoms. he should see you immediately or refer you to gyn right away.

It's time to get to the Emergency Room; while unlikely, it's possible that you have an ectopic pregnancy, and that is something that can turn into a serious situation very quickly.

Safest thing to do is to head straight to the local emergency room. Ailments of that nature should not ever be put on hold. Better safe than sorry, and best of luck to you!

You need to go to the ER. It soundsl like you could have a tubal pregnancy, or you could have problems with ovarian cysts. Never jeapordize your health to save some money.

I had the exact same thing last Feb. It ended up being an early miscarrige, and endometriosis. I had to have a D&C and laproscopy. LIZ
