How long ago have you had your surgery?

Scars will take at least a year to fade.

After your incisions are closed, go get some ScarGuard or Mederma and start rubbing them on your incisions and massage them daily.

I am over one year since my reduction surgery and they are 95% gone. Make sure you follow your plastic surgeons directions on your after surgery care.

I had one two years ago the complete recovery process can take up to a year; however, it took approximately eight weeks for me to feel better after the surgery. The scars are permanent but will fade over time. I can hardly see some of my scars now. For me, it was worth the scars. When you think of the benefit, no more back or shoulder pain, you'll get over the scars. They're really not that bad.

After your breast reduction surgery, your surgeon is likely to prescribe medication to help you deal comfortably with soreness and swelling. Within the first week, you will experience a certain amount of discomfort and you should expect swelling and bruising in the area. It will take several weeks before you can stop wearing a special support bra and for normal sensation to return to your nipples and for you to return to most normal activities and exercise. In a few months’ time, your breasts will settle into their new shape. Your scars will begin to fade and if you had been suffering from chronic back and neck pain, you will finally enjoy relief!

In additon, it is likely that your scars will take abt 6 mths to a year to fade off comletely. For options to permanently remove these scars, you can check out this site : http://cosmetic-surgery.my-fashion-house.com/
