My soon-to-be ex is already frolicking about with the new man in her life, and i'm kinda feeling sorry for myself and wishing we could get back together, although i know getting back could be suicidal for me. I'm advised its not wise to remarry soon because of the children, but i need a "mother" to help me bring up the girls, and someone to love to help me maintain my sanity and keep me from "wandering". Any views on if i should remarry, and how soon, bearing in mind my young girls.

I think you need to slow down a bit and think about it. Your girls have a mother, even if she doesn't live with them, she will always be their mom.
You need to focus on raising your children and not try to replace their mom. That wouldn't work out so well. You also should seek some therapy if you truly feel suicidal. That isn't good for anybody and that's not the best state of mind to be in when you are responsible for four little innocent people. Seek help and seek it now.

Whoa, slow down a bit. Your not divorced yet and already your thinking about bringing another woman into your girls life. First of all good luck finding someone and not because of your girls. You never once mentioned someone to love you and you love them. Since mainly your actually looking for a live in maid through marriage wouldn't it be cheaper to hire someone for that job? Any woman nowadays will never go into a relationship just to take care of you and your children, now you could lie and say the things she would want to hear, but what are you teaching your children? Take it slowly because of the girls, bringing another person into this equation could only cause more problems down the road. If the girls get attached to her and no love from you, do you think it will honestly work, no, you can only pretend so long that you love someone. Don't hurt the girls anymore than they already are by rushing into something you will regret.

You have to take your time, and find someone who is compatible with you. Your daughters don't need a mother if she is going to leave after you two realize you rushed into something, and made a mistake. Besides, they still have a mother that will probably receive visitation rights. Don't rush into another marriage.

Hey glad to hear you got custody of your daughters i hope you hound her until the kids are grown and find you a real mother for your kids never give her a minute of peace just like women do their ex husbands.
