Is their any scientific evidence that the human body after death returns to soil or dirt after a certain period of time.

Yes of course... Its called "decomposition" all biological organic matter returns back to the dirt.. providing nutrients to the soil and food for insects etc that help the process of decomposition. There is so much scientific evidence on the subject that its not even funny.. Such information is used in law enforcement to determine time of death of human victims, and the knowledge is applied in many fields of study.

This has been observed throughout the ages. Microorganisms and invertebrate carrion feeders break down the body into simpler components, which then leach into the soil as fertilizer for the plants. It's the circle of life.

Yes, Just like all organic organisms (as we are). The first thing that would happen is flies would land on the dead body and lay eggs. The decaying organic matter would provide food support so that the maggates could break down the food. More organisms would come in eat, poop, and create hummus (organic pulp). It's a cycle man... beautiful huh?
