If an unknown person wanted to run for president but did not have any money, could he or she campaign by sending out chain e-mails to promote themselves or by going on sites like this to tell people who they are and what they want to do to change this country? Or, maybe the person could run videos on YouTube or something like that?

Do you think a person could win this way?

This is basically the plot of that "Man of the Year," movie. Anyways, I don't think so, because it takes money and visible support for someone to get their party's nomination. Plus, I'd like to believe people aren't so stupid to donate money to some strange candidate over the internet as it could be some seventeen year old scam artist who knows computers.

Nope, it could never happen, they would probably only have the "youth" vote....and lets face it, how many "youth's" actually vote?
