Well the shadow only seems to show up when there is some conflict going on. So maybe that is connected.
The others are scientists studying the anomilies of the island.
I just want to know what happened to Michael and Walt????

i used to think it was some spiritual post-death island...but now I'm thinking its all a big sociology experiment set up by the dahrma initiative....and the magic box....?....forget it...im still confused :), best show on TV though! great writing/acting
