Where do you find really cool knit hats like the one my avatar is wearing? And for a reasonable price.

Take a knitting class and make them yourself for a fraction of the cost charged by major retailers! There are many craft stores that offer both knitting and crochet classes for a reasonable cost and usually even offer a discount on supplies for the classes.

There is a great site called www.woollywormhead.co.uk this lady spins all of her own yarn, and makes hat patterns from it. Ther great thing is though that you can buy the hats too. because she spins & dyes the wool herself, weach hat is completely unique, and fvery funky too.
