huckleberries but there are not many in michigan.my mama davis used to make us huckleberry cobbler when we were kids in mississippi after we went for a walk with her and picked them together.they were so fat and sweet and juicy! i love them and the memories of my mama davis making special treats when we visited.i settle now for blueberries they run a close second i make a really good cobbler of my own.but i make a homemade peach cobbler and top it with blueberries and apple brown betty topping! it is awesome!
