I'm not gay but I've noticed that gay people make more money and are more educated than normal people.
Maybe they are calmer.
What's you take?

How smart is it to not like female genitalia?

I'm not gay but I don't think it has anything to deal with them being gay but I think these people open their minds to new things and they reach for the stars in everything they do. Gay people have to defend themselves all the time and prove that they are human and can do whatever they want just like straight people because people always wants to test them. Gay people are calmer because they want to live their life just like everyone else and want to live a normal life but that only goes so far - nobody is going to let their head get bashed or be harrassed and just act like it's nothing because a person can be pushed to the edge so many times without actually falling off; gay people are more emotionally balanced.

Are you seriously suggesting that no homosexual ever had a poor education or a second rate job? Not ever?

Well, I'd love to take time to discuss your suggestion, but I have a fly past of pigs to attend to.

Actually there is a grain of truth in what you say, only you have the explanation back to front.

It isn't that people with a preference for homosexuality are more likely to be intelligent; it's that it is more likely that an intelligent person will respond to life's ups and downs by resorting to homosexual behaviour.
(Intelligent people aren't automatically amongst the most materially/educational successful members of society.)

Having said that, though there aren't many homosexuals compared to the population as a whole, you will find them at all levels of both the educational and economic ladders.

Perhaps you find it difficult to believe that a building labourer, truck driver or a cleaning woman could also be a homosexual?
But they can, you know.

Well, maybe the only way to answer your question is to become gay. Go out in the world and live as a gay person, apply for a job, socialize with only gay people, and see just how the world treats you. I can be very close to saying that you will find something very different then your perception now, but if you really want to know then go out and experience it for yourself.

Okay, here it is. People who are gay have been forced to do a ton of self-reflection. This self-reflection has several layers of emotion: humiliation, shame, joy, fascination, curiosity, excitement, learning, etc. Because you're different, you have to make up your mind just how you're different, you have to compare yourself to others, you have to learn about people like you and through that usually comes compassion. It's a lot of research and just as in any research comes info about a lot of different topics. Also too gay people are calm bc they know who they are and had to work hard to own it. Heterosexuals DO do a lot of self-reflection but that base characteristic doesn't come with any shame or hostility and therefore is a non-issue which is great but also does not take any research and also none of the accomplishment. I'm bisexual myself so honestly I'm just telling you how I feel and what I've seen others go through.

Well, it seems like around where I live the majority of gay people come from a well educated and high class family, not always true but most of the time. They learn to be proper and seek to make something of thierselves. They just look at the world differently, well obviously. Casey:)

I'm gay and i dont think that we are smarter than everyone else. Some people think that we see the world different than most, but that can go for some straights as well. For example, since many gays are stereotyped they see people as individuals, they see them for who they are, not what they are. a lot of gays rely on some form of art (poetry, painting, photography) to express themselves since many family members and friends do not understand or dont want to listen. Which is why many of us take art careers; some of those careers pay a lot of money, such as architecture, graphic design, and fashion.

Thats pretty stereotypical if you ask me. First you refer to gay people as being "not normal" like there aliens or something. And I don't see them as being smarter or more educated or having super human abilities, I just think theyre normal people and should be recognized as such.

I have unidentified too many dead gays at the morgue after their suicide to go along with you. They are people. Some are over-achievers and some kill themselves. They are real people, just like you and me, but where they live and what their family thinks weighs too heavily on their decisions for anyone to wish themselves gay right now. @8-]

umm.. maybe its just not true. Maybe it is they educate themselves and make as much money as they can the same way any straight person could.. through hard work. Its not like God is like I'm going to make this person gay AND give them a great job, you gotta work to find a good paying job and you gotta work to be educated.

Before asking why something is, you must first find a basis to ask. And since there's no proof of them being smarter or even a common belief. Your question is invalid.
