Each time I pick up my books to study, I get so bored that I can't keep myself focused! Subjects I am studying are essentially very important for my studies but I cannot concentrate. Do you have any tips on how to keep yourself concentrated on the subject and not get bored.

I had the same problem, as well as most students. At my university I attended this seminar thing, and they showed us how to study, with retention of what you have read/done. Basically it sums up to 15 minute intervals, you study for 15mins and take a 5 min break, then you study for 20 mins then a 4 minute break, and so on. Apparently they did a big study about this and it works! try it out it may work for you it may not, but its a hell of allot easier for me to stay focused on one subject for long amounts of time.

Education is serious business. You do not always have to be entertained.
You need to study and keep your ultimate goal in mind- what ever that goal is.
Take a quick break after you finish a certain amount of work. Have enough to drink.Then get right back to work.

take some short breaks during your study sessions & do something totally different to break up the monotony...have a snack, listen to some music (if u don`t already study with it on!!! i personally can`t study without it!!!), walk around the block or your yard...10 or 15 minutes...then u can come back refreshed & refocus on your work...

Well, just keep in mind that studying is reviewing, and reviewing is just reading. So you read the stuff you're supposed to study, and you might not think that you have it memorized, but it's going to be lodged in your mind somewhere. Or you can just read a page and stretch and read again.

keep your goal in mind, and focus. studing and work isnt lmeant to be fun. in the end it will be woth it.
