This guy fires someone who has the team in first, won 5 of the last 7, and led them to the playoffs...in the guys first year. If the Devils do not win the Stanley Cup this year, Lou should fire himself for being just a jerk.

Lou is an egotistical moron. This move wasn't warranted. How do you let the players mutiny the week before the playoffs?

Lou Lamoriello is not "this guy". He has been around in the nhl for a very LONG time. He is a smart man and has been with the devils since 1987, and has served longer than any other current GM in the league. Dont u remember last year when robinson quit, and he took the devils all the way to the 2nd round even though they were just starting out as an "ok" team? He did what he did for a reason. The players also felt like they werent connecting with Julien..and that they havent been heading in the right direction; proven in the last three weeks. He is not a jerk as you said, he knows what he is doing, trust me, and trust Lou. We both know very well its uncommon for this to happen, expecially when its the end of the regular season, so he wouldnt have done this without putting thought into it. Would Lou Lamoriello, Ceo, President, General Manager AND head coach of the Devils really do something that was so stupid? NO! GO LOU!! And to the person under me, he is NOT an egotistical moron. He just did what was best for the team.

the deal with lou is that he fired the coach cause of player preasure. the preasure the players applied is not for me to say, but its ok. lou is well liked in the nhl, and he is number one of the gm. looks like he might be comming to toronto and ferguson looks for a new job? lol :)

he has done this before, seems like he gets a coach to get his team into playoff contention then he wants to coach them to take all the praise. I hope it backfires in his face.
