From as fare back as I can remember I have always loved Southern Rock. When I was a kid in the 80's all my friends were listening to music such as Milli Vanilli, Madonna, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Bobbie Brown, etc. etc. and I was listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Marshall Tucker Bank and the Allmon Brothers. I thought that their music was weird and they thought my music was bad and "old news". I guess I won in the end, though. Skynyrd has become a pop icon and is selling out shows throughout the South. Almost every music store carrys their T-Shirts. However, you rarely even hear of Debbie Gibson or Tiffany anymore. Milli Vanilli is the butt of jokes. Madonna is considered a weird-o and Bobbie Brown is a wife beating crack head. HA!!! Southern Rock Rules!!!!
