I get that people tend to abbreviate on the internet:
OMG
LOL
WTF
and all of that......but it still annoys me.
then, you get to all of this crazy stuff like
TKS or however these people do "thanks"
but the most annoying things are actually incorrect
"alot"
and "your" instead of "you are"
i'm just curious as to how many people are annoyed by all of it.

A lot of people on here type faster than their brain works and they don't spell check or go back and correct errors. Many don't even proof read their question or answer before posting them. I'm guilty of it too. It's this hurry, hurry world we're living in. Or maybe they're trying to post an answer before someone else does. As far as e-speak, it's just another way of being faster. It's taking some time but I'm getting used to most of it. And have you ever noticed that, for instance, (no offense intended toward anyone) a Texan moves to south Louisiana, and before long he is talking like the Cajuns or vice versa. It's just human nature. u hava gd day

I'm laughing, cause reading your question I got tickled. You sound so cute and I am guilty of the "your" and it like, leaped out at me. I agree with you on the alphabet speaking. I think it falls as a no no in the guide lines.Just little kids I guess. What is lol ? I have thought of a number of things. Then you find your own fault of not capitalizing !!! Why ?? That is very important. Is it because you can type faster if you don't ?
I don't let to many things bother me. If I did I would not be decent company for anyone including myself. I try to see the better side of people and situations and at times I actually search for a positive and sometimes I have to give up that search. Have a Blessed Easter-Because He Lives~~~~Jill

yes its annoying , but I have to admit I do say alot instead of a lot. just to lazy to go back and change. and I don't capitalize either that much. sorry. but you can't stop any one from doing what they are doing like abbreviate.

Hate it but find myself occasionally using it which is indeed a problem for me because it annoys me almost as much as poor spelling. Also why words like kewl? or gurlz? Maybe my age is showing? Your preachin to the choir wtf can ya do lol

VERY annoying. I don't use it at all. I think it is mostly used by 13 year olds.
