They don't speak on my behalf . It really gives me the chills to think so many everyday regular people just like me went about their daily lives without a clue . I actually thought Ronald Reagen was being funny the first time I heard him say , "I didn't leave the Democrat Party-It left me ". It took people like Hillary Clinton ; Michael Moore ; Al Franken ; Al Gore ; John Kerry ; Ted Kennedy , and the mainstream media to blink me into reality one day when I actually stopped for a second to listen to what the heck was going on . I was always "too busy". The more I talk to people , the more I know that the radical libs like Hillary Clinton ; Kerry ; Kennedy ; Pelosi & Reid (to name a few) are fooling scores of others who would be just as appalled as I was ..if not for doing my own research ..and bothering to sit up and realize what devastation to my country had been taking place before my very eyes ..but I didn't want to see it . After all ..my grandparents were Democrats . They would turn over in their graves if they could see the party now .

Whoa there! You must remember what majority you are talking about. The Congressmen are only voted in by people in there own little district. A few congressmen changing seats is hardly indicative of the voice of America. In the senate it is nearly 50/50. No mandate there, either.

To answer the question at hand, I am not tired of the leftists Dem's claiming to be the voice of America. It is just another one of the serious mistakes they are making. The more they feel empowered to behave this way the better. Their arrogance will be a clarion call to the more moderate and conservative people of America.

Let them rail away! This funny business with the emergency funding bill, Pelosi jet-setting around the world as if she has something to do with foreign policy all of this will come back to roost.

This country is not liberal by a long shot. The President's main problem has been the fact that he is not conservative enough.

I'm more tired of everyone (on both sides) making an issue of non-issues. Really, who cares about who believes what? Is it really affecting how you live your life?

There is this great thing called voting that you have the right to do (unless you are foreign, a criminal or under 18). If you voted, speak your mind, but know that if your party was not elected, than your were not amongst "average Americans."

If you didn't vote, shame on you and you have no right to participate in these discussions!

Yes, just as I am the far right saying the same. There is close to a 50-50 split in this country. Right now, in regards to the war, the left probably has a majority, but that doesn't mean the majority of the people are dems. To many people there are other things more important than the war. I know I am one of them.

Yes, the war matters, but there are things that will make me vote, or not vote for someone before the war.

The american voters settled that at the polls. The Dems ARE speaking on behalf of the voters.

I find it funny how they say that Bush must do what America wants, listen to the voice of the people and other cheesy slogans, but they are only concerned with polls that favor whatever their position wants. I wonder how they would have replied back when support for the war was over 60%, what they would say if I told them this is what America wants. Actually I remember what they said, then we are supposed to listen to the minority, and its not fair to ignore them. It's almost laughable to listen to them speak.

I wouldn't say they are that leftist maybe moderates but trust a true lefty in saying they are on the right track but if I had my way the right would be appalled and the world would be a better place.

I'm tired of leftist Democrats NOT claiming to be the voice of America! It's about time they grew a spine. It's about time they were led by somebody man enough. Turned out the best man for the job was a woman. Thank you, Grandma Pelosi, for reminding our country of what leadership looks like!

The people I hear claiming to be the Voice of America are the majority that want us out of Iraq. That's a very loud voice these days. It's composed of not only liberals, but moderates and conservatives from both parties and every day it's turned up a little bit louder.
