Fuel pump.

I have a 91 Chev.2500 with the 350, and had problems with poor acceleration, dieing when trying to get on the freeway, dieing on rapid acceleration from dead stop, Wouldn't go over 60mph.

Eventualy, it would only drive on back roads, and finaly would only idle.
Replaced my pump, all better now.
To make a long story short, you may need a new fuel pump (in tank) $250

If you have anything less than 6psi. It's toast. 12 psi is optimal.

If its stalling during idle adjust the 'Idle adjustment Screws' on the throttle body. check for any loose vacuum hoses thats a good place to start.
