Dose anyone elese think this is the best rivalry in hockey as of right now. Every game I have seen between these two in the last few years, has been some of the best hockey I have seen. But If you don't think so, then tell me what teams, and why.

Good rivalry but no one will ever be able to beat the rivalry between the Leafs and the Canadiens. Best rivalry yet in hockey always was the there and always will be there. Granted, the rivalry between Toronto and Ottawa will be there because of the Battle of Ontario just like in Alberta with the Oilers and the Flames. This year, SENS ALL THE WAY!

Every team has it's undeniable rival. For Pittsburgh, it's the Flyers. The cross-state teams hate each other in all of the sports. There's also a healthy rivalry with the Devils, but not so much as the Flyers. If you ever want to see an awesome Pens game, go to one against the Flyers or the Devils. Those are the most energetic and entertaining games of the season no matter how good/bad the teams are against everyone else.

I dont think hockey is about rivalry. rivalry is just a byproduct of trying to enjoy a sport that only holds a teams name more important than an outcome. usualy its the leafs and the canadians when it comes to rivalry in the nhl. as to why, well ask 100 people who like hockey and you will hear most say they like to see their team outplay the other cause their team has better players or goaltending. lol :)

This is a good one but then it was expected. A rivalry like this would also exist if there was another team in Ontario (hint-hint). People here are rabid fans. How else does a team owned by Pal Hal sell out all thiose games in the 80s?

its an intense rivalry but id have to say Montreal and Boston is the one of the more intense

no way, the Devils/Rangers rivalry is the biggest!!!!!!!!! heck the devils leafs rivalry might be a bigger rivalry then the sens!!!!

One of the best for sure ... but it wasn't as intense this season around (at least in my opinion).
