no , vista is pretty smart , it will know if the key has been used before , and will not allow the activation of the 2nd attempt

No, that would be illegal. Only one operating system installation per computer, if you do install it, you will run into two problems you will be breaking the EULA and you will not be able to get any windows updates on the second computer, because it will know you are using it illegally. You will have to have two copies of it, but I wouldn't even bother blowing my money to begin with, since many people are still having problems with vista, wait at least 4-6 months.

you can copy your vista CD before installation and install it on both (1 CD on 1 PC) PC's but the first PC which connects to the Internet and registers will be the original but the other one will have to update it's key or do something else to become original!
