You need to look into thinks in a more optimistic way. Definitely life is not a crappy job and low pay. Life is short and sweet and you make the most of it all the time.
Dare to take some risks in getting a better job.
You will find life very challenging and great.
Take life as a great challenge and be prepared for the worst.

Could be. There is a diverse array of interpretations as to what the phrase 'the meaning of life' actually refers to.
I think that the basic meaning of life is survival. If a crappy job and low pay is a person's means for survival, then yes.
While I think that survival is the meaning of life at its simplest, I don't feel it is the entire meaning of life. (I hope this makes sense!) I guess I mean that while the basic physical necessities must be fulfilled, there is something in each person that has to be satisfied to make life at least tolerable and hopefully enjoyable. The meaning of life is acknowledging and acquiring this need. It may be a partner, kids, adventure, service, or even an interesting job.
Ultimately, the meaning of life for you is different than other's.

That's not the meaning of life it's just what we choose to do in life. The meaning of life is finding your spiritual destiny and then trying to live your life in accord with that.

Nope, it's the emotions and joy that you experience as you go through it and fulfilling your own purpose in life. Then as you wear away, memories would be the only thing you have left. Don't worry, things would get better.
