please can you help me, I have got a minnow with big fins i cannot remember the name of it but it as swell up in the stomach and its back seems to broken is they anything wrong with it or is this just normal its about 12-16 months old...

If there is anyway you can put a picture of the fish on a photo sharing site like photobucket and post the link here, that would help so very much. Other than that, it's not normal at any age for a fish to have a bent or broken looking back or a swollen stomach.

the fish is pregnant and is having back problems like most ladies do. Is it an egg layer or a live bearer. Regarding its large wings this is known as premature evolution, and will probably result in the fish flying around the room. The only problem you may encounter is your cat.
