If I understand your question correctly, you are trying to figure out what to give this friend who is putting pictures together for your daughter's wedding. The money would be a "thank you for your work" present, right?

Here's a few things to consider
1) If you were in here place, what would you like to receive for it?
2) How much will this project mean to you?
3) How much time has it cost her?
4) What are her supply costs?

That may help you arrive at a figure. It sounds like she'll be flattered to know how much you appreciate it no matter who much you give her.

Some people feel funny about taking money, if she is that way then a couple of gift cards from a restaurant or store might be something that she would like. Wedding pictures can cost a lot of money so just keep that in mind when you give her your gift.

Maybe this will help, I haven't married yet but my sister has, my mother gave her $1000 as a gift and plans on giving me the same amount when I marry (who knows when), it's not a ton, but it's a substancial amout, you know? My sister used it towards a down payment on their first house, I may do the same or invest it when it's time.

It depends on how much you can afford and how much your daughter needs...may be in something that they will remember for long...such as CD, towards their first home, etc.
