we have a new fiberglass pool, what product do i use to decrease the hardness of the water? thanks?

The only way to decrease your hardness in your water is to install a water softener. The hardness in your water is calcium and magnesium, there not chemicals you can add to your water to remove these minerals. At least none you would want to swim in. Softeners can be expensive but they are absolutely worth the money.

Baking Soda, is also available in 10 lb bags at Walmart.
