I have music in my library but it won't let me download it because the songs are protected.
How do I get around that?

You are asking for illegal activity help. Not good.

Pay for the music and stop trying to circumvent the system.

Which program are you using? Limewire? Sometimes you have to pay for copywrited songs unless you can find somewhere or somebody else to download it from.
