Okay, here it goes. Last period, March 11, expecting next one April 9. Past five days positive opk, negative hpt. Current symptoms:
Extremely tired
Irritable
Big time bloated

Swollen breasts
Tell me what you think? I am convinced I am pregnant but could this be something else?

Thanks for the info, but I prefer to look on the positive side that I may be preggs not have pcos. Wouldn't pcos show up when I did my complete blood count last month?

It is probably still too early to use a home pregnancy test. Even the ones that say, "Test 5 days sooner" are not very effective. I tried them when I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter and I didn't get the positive on any of the early ones.

If you have just finished getting positive opk's, then you may have only just ovulated. If so, you cannot test for pregnancy for another 12-14 days. Are your cycles usually irregular?

That being said, all the signs you mentioned are signs of early pregnancy. The only other thing it could be is a hormone imbalance. If your progesterone levels are low it can cause you to be tired, cramping, sore breasts, etc in the 2nd half of your cycle. If you are not pregnant this month you may ask your doctor for a progesterone test around day 17 (or a few days after you think you have ovulated) and see if your levels are in the normal range. Good luck & I hope things work out for you!

You sound like me! I am the same way. I just got my period today but started to have the worse symptoms last week. I never had symptoms like this before....

Swollen Breast
Very Tired all the time
Bloated big time
Even threw up a few times

I too was convinced until I got my period. The only way to be 100% sure is to take a test after the 9th. I know its not what you want to hear! (trust me!) But Im praying you are! Best Wishes sweetie!

I don't mean to talk down to you, but I must ask--are you sure you are reading the results properly on the ovulation tests? For them to be positive both lines must be the same color or the test line has to be darker than the control line.
If you are constantly getting pos. opk's then you have a more serious problem--possibly pcos.

You need to take into consideratoion you are coming up on your next menstrual cycle.... the same symptoms that people get when they are pregnant are the same ones they get right before they start menstruating. I would wait to see if you get your period and then I would take a pregnancy test.... hopefully you get the result you want... if you are pregnant congrats and good luck

ok well... obviously if you had unprotected sex, there would be a high rate that you could be pregnant. But pregnancy symptoms are VERY similar to PMS so if I was you, I would go and take a test or go to your doctor and have him test you! I would wait until your missed period though! Best Wishes :)

Have you tried to call you doctor about this. I can't say yes or no to the fact that you might me pregnant. Can you pick up on all smells that take place in a room? That is another sign of being pregnant.

They are signs of pregnancy, but when I was TTC I thought everything was a sign, lol. I know it sounds hard, but you just have to wait and see. (Now I am waiting to have my baby, due ANY day now..lol. You have a lot of waiting to do..lol)

Relax, friend.. :)
No one can tell you. PMS is very similar to early pregnancy.

Just relax, take it easy, and take a test when the time comes.

Good luck~
