I am looking for great stories from women who were proposed to, backed out on, and wanted to get even. (Looking for stories/ methods of revenge only, if you have a nice story about a clean break, please answer elsewhere!)
This happened to me and I'm thinking about sharing my story and stories from gals who are hurt just like me and smart enough to make him pay!

Girls girls girls... I am not soliciting ideas, I am asking if anyone who had this happen to them has a good story about how they got back at their ex. I am going to compile them into a book, not execute them, jeez!

Ok, I feel the need to explain again (tough crowd). You know how there are self help books out there that deal with healing a broken heart, etc? I am a pissed at my ex, so I thought, "I wonder if there are other pissed off almost-brides that have some great stories about how their situations went down." I am a writer so I thought it would be an interesting addition to that part of the self help section. It's therapeutic to make your voice heard. That's why blogs (and Yahoo Answers) are so pooular. :)

I'm very sorry things didn't work out for you as you as hoped. As was mentioned above, if it seems hard to break up right before a wedding ... try right after.

You deserve someone who wants to be with you like you want to be with them.

The best revenge is to move on and have a great life, leaving him thinking that it could have been him with you. Anything bitchy you do will just make him feel that he did the right thing, and absolve him of guilt. Did you want to absolve him of guilt? :p

REVENGE is not your responsibility. It is a higher power that has not given you the permission or authority for this. REVENGE is a sin. and you will be held accountable .

REVENGE does not solve anything, it inflicts harm. It is dangerous.

REVENGE is mine sayeth the Lord

You would much rather be backed out on in an engagement than one (or both) of you be miserable in a marriage.

Be careful what you wish for. You may offend
someone who will exact a unbearable REVENGE
upon you or your loved ones.

You appear to relish is REVENGE.

Best answer is to LET IT GO and BE SUCCESSFUL

Revenge only makes you as pathetic as him. If you want to be classified in the same category, the go ahead and seek your revenge.

If you want to be better than that, move forward with your life and be happy!

Do you think your behavior had anything to do with him backing off?
Just from your paragraph alone you come off like a psychopath.

Maybe he made the right choice after all.

Get a life. No wonder he broke it off with you. Geesh, a man can't change his mind or would you have rather been in a marriage with a man who didn't want you. He did you a favor.

Did it ever occur to you that if he didn't it would have ended in divorce instead? Count your lucky stars instead of being so bitter.

I would call him and lie to him by saying to him you were cheating on him all along.
