Come on DUH! that is jealousy you idiot. People who are lost in life and haven't found that love you have are upset and they want it before you get it. Trust me this happened to me with my brother when I told him I was getting married he was like are you nuts needless to say he is 3yrs older then I and has had nothing but shi tty relationships so when he saw me hadn't dated for almost 8yrs finding my soul-mate pissed him off. Married almost 8yrs now.

Yes, they had their crushes too at your age. And their parents probably intervened too. That's just a fact of life.
