The single most important thing to do is to time intercourse correctly. You only have 1 day a month when you get get pregnant--during ovulation. To maximize your chances you need to have sex the day before and day of ovulation. To determine when you ovulate use ovulation tests, chart your basal body temps, or use a fertility monitor.
Also, after 1 year of unprotected intercourse it is suggested that you seek medical advice. Make an appt with your OB/Gyn to see what is going on. Your doc can also order a semen analyasis for your partner.

I think the first thing you should do is for both of you to see a doctor. I have learned that often the problem can be from the male, so have you fiance have a sperm count, then if the problem is not from him, have yourself checked.
Maybe you are not ovulating regularly or not at all and if not, there are many medications that can help depending on the case. so my best advice is to see a doctor.

Why wait and get pregnant after the wedding. If you are truly trying to get pregnant now try to relax and if you are usually regular than do it everyday starting 10 days after your first day of the last period. After sex lay down on your back for a couple of hours or for the rest of the night. Don't stress over it. Good Luck.

I know your disappointment. We tried for 8 mos. with no luck b/c of my irregular menstrual cycles. Then I used an ovulation tester and we conceived that month! It's like a pregnancy test but it tells you when you are ovulating. We used the generic Walgreens brand and it worked just as well as the pricier brands. If you try that for a couple months and still no luck, then I would go see a doctor. Good luck hon!

HERE IS SOME OTHER STUFF THAT COMES IN HANDY IF YOU ARE TRYING TO CONCEIVE BASIL THERMOMETER (CHEAP DRUG STORE ONE WILL WORK TO) THE ONLY REASON I SAID BASIL WAS BECAUSE IT HAS DIRECTIONS HOW TO DO IT. TO TAKE YOUR TEMPERATURE TO SEE IF YOU ARE OVULATING.

if you've been trying for over a year, you should go see your doctor and have both of yourselves checked up. It could be something with either of you, or it could not. Sometimes the timing is just not right. So get a check up for both of you. get a sperm count for him. your doc may recommend medication first before anything else if you've had no previous medical history affecting your tubes or cervix and such.

How old are you? The fact that you can't spell pregnant but you are trying to get pregnant is a little concerning. Also, why are you trying to get pregnant BEFORE you get married?
Anyhow, you need to have sex while you are ovulating in order to get pregnant. Most people ovulate between day 14-16 of their cycle (the first day of your period is day 1).

It sounds silly, but apparently positions help. Sleeping together "missionary" with a pillow under your hips can help...also...it depends on what sort of contraception u have used. My cousin was having the injection. it took her nearly a year to get pregnant. If you get really worried about it. have a fertility check done. They may be able to help you. Hope it helps.

My best advice? stop trying so hard. It took me 4 years to get my daughter and i only got her after well and trully giving up all hope. When people are trying the muscles tense up making it harder to concieve. Sounds easy but i know is hard but try to forget about babies and enjoy love making and it is likely to happen a lot faster.
You can also go to your doctors who will prescribe you hormone drugs to increase your fertility but again it all takes time.
