patience. check your resume. that is not the only way to get a job. Go to sites of the company you want and find out who is the HR contact there. ..or use an emplyment agency.

If you are using websites like career builder, make sure you include a cover letter that is specific to the position you are applying for. Research the company that you are applying for and then write the cover letter specifically for them. Take it from me, I get dozens of resumes a week, and throw them out if they did not take the time to learn about our company. Employers can tell when you are simply clicking a link to submit your resume.

Try reading, "What Color is Your Parachute." It will teach you more effective ways of getting a job than Career Builder.

maybe the job is already filled
maybe you don't meet their credentials
maybe the job never really existed and they are just doing research
maybe after the first 19 resumes, they thought you were a child and wanted nothing to do with you
