Stupid Question About Flash Drives?

Like I said, this is a dumb question. But I was wondering, when you save something to a flash drive, is it stored in any way on the computer hardrive?

not unless you saved it to the hard drive as well as the flash stick

No. Unless you copied a file from the hard drive to the flash drive.

Yes, no and maybe. If it was on the hard drive before you saved it to the flash drive, then it is still on the hard drive until you delete it from there.

If it was not on the hard drive, then saving it to a flash drive will not put it on the hard drive.
