The MOTHER needs serious counseling, the SON WILL NEED seriously counseling and still may never be "normal" after 12 years of breastfeeding and Dad you may need some counseling after dealing with for so long and being ignored.
And yes its possible to be breastfeeding 12 years later because the sucking is what keeps a mothers milk in production. AS long as mom keeps the breast stimulated and sucked on milk will keep coming, there is no deadline for breastfeeding moms.
Good Luck with this one and seek professional help for all of you as soon as possible because you could lose your son over this is CPS takes over.

I would love for this to be a fake question, but I actually know someone with Child Protective Services who has a similar case.
It is sexual abuse, the child was removed and is actually in a facility because the damage done was so severe. Imagine an average 12 year old who thinks that this is normal? Imagine what ELSE they think is normal and is way outside the realm of mainstream.
If this is an actual situation, the child is most probably acting out and severely angry. If CPS is not involved in his life, they should be immediately. But this issue will not be the only one uncovered.
Keep in mind that, as the father, if you are aware that this has been happening and have done nothing to stop it, CPS will most probably not allow your son to live with you either, as you are not thinking rationally either.

The first thing I'd be doing is gathering some information (ie: internet, speaking to a doctor) and then broaching the subject with the mother again. This does not sound like a healthy relationship, especially given that a 12 year old boy has likely or will likely enter puberty shortly. This type of behavior may have a negative effect on this young man's personality and future relationships. In addition, you may want to check your State's laws. This may be considered child abuse.

I think this is in part your fault, you seem like a very sexual man, I think you just think about sex, SO, this is a way for her to feel loved, and feel that SOMEONE needs her.
NEVER THINK she is sexually abusing your son, that is stupid.
HELP THEM BOTH, or leave them, you are the one that should get couseling, I think she feels trapped in a life that she didn't want, living with a man that uses most of his brains materia to think about sex, that is not a Bad thing, but it is when it becomes an obsession that does not include your wife, you are selfish and selfcentered, maybe without even knowing it or wanting to.
It is you responsability to help her and your son, take them on vacation, Do you have family that you can send you son during vacation??? Go to summer camp, just help them begin start a regular behavior.
TRUE, wish you good luck.

I dont think this is serious, but I have actually seen a mother nurse her 8 yr. old kid. CRAZY! But OK lets play. I really dont think she's nursing, I think she has a perverse notion. and I think you like it too. She see's your son as a maturing young man who is starting to fill out and perhaps has copped a feel of other things. Now she has always enjoyed the feeling of having her breasts suckled maybe and decided that her little boy would continue to give her, her secret pleasure. Lets see for you since you knew that a baby weens oh after the first year sometime, and you put alot of efforts into stopping them, kinda like Willy Wonka does. no. stop. dont. Maybe you kinda like to see her cluthcing his head as he sucks and kneads her breasts, maybe you are on the other teet? Hey whatever dude you know it's wrong, so stop it. But if it's fake just to get good responses, here's one for ya!

WHAT? Nursing as in breastfeeding?
I think that you may need to intervene and take them to see a professional.
This is NOT normal.

God your an idiot......There is no way in hell she is still producing milk after 12 years unless she just had another baby. Your story is almost as stupid as my wife telling me her best friends husband likes to put her breast milk in his coffee in the morning.....
