I suspect that your child just missed parents and familiar places. Maybe also your child's feeding schedule was off at the grandmother's. Likely nothing to be concerned about. BTW, taking a baby to a chiropractor seems odd to me.

How often does your son see his grandmother? If it is not often then I would say he was just crying because she was a stranger, not in his own house and missed his mom. If he is not crying now or doesn't cry like that for you then I wouldn't think it is colic. If your son had colic he would continually cry no matter where he was or who had him plus it is usually around the same time every day.

Don't stress. He is fine.

It isn colic, it's seperation anxiety. He was crying for his mother. The only way to remedy this is to leave him there more often so he can get used to being there. After a while he will discontinue crying all the time. Tell your grandmother that she needs to quit "Playing doctor" because it could have some bad effects if she is ever wrong.

No, he his not colic. You would know if he was. If everytime he eats his stomach gets hard and bloated and he won't ever stop screaming, thats when he collic. Collic is basically when the baby is eating something or drinking something all the ime that doesn't agree with tem. I swear Grandparents are crazy, don't let them stress you out. I have never heard of bringing any child to a chriopracter unless they were injured. He probably just wanted to be at home and back to his routine. Hope this helps.

Sounds like Grandma couldn't get him to stop crying so she just assumed it was IMPOSSIBLE to get him to stop crying. So: "He must have colic." Poor grandma! That must have been a long three days. If he is acting normal for you, I would just assume he'd had a hard time adjusting to grandma's house and figure that everything is okay.

You would know if he had colic. You would be on here asking "omg, colic, I can't take it, what can I do?", LOL.

He was either terribly upset at being in unfamiliar surroundings without his own mom, or they gave him something they shouldn't have - different food or formula or something added to it that upset his system.

He was probably crying because he missed his mom! Poor little guy! If he's not crying now, I'm sure he's ok. You'll know when your baby has colic.
