Our doctor has suggested pills for extra nutrition and we are using them now.

I would consult your doctor. It doesn't sound as if she is getting enough nutrition. The vomiting could be gastric reflux as well. I believe she should have doubled her weight by now.

That's pretty bad, actually. Babies do lose 5-10% of birth weight at first, but are usually back to birth weight by the 10th day of life, and are consistenly gaining from there. Your baby may have a medical problem if she is vomiting and failing to gain weight. FTT (failure to thrive) is a diagnosis when a baby fails to gain weight like this. Your baby is very tiny for almost 2 months old! You should really get her checked out ASAP.

It may simply be your daughter's own developmental curve. The fact that she is very active does not speack to being malnurished.

Still, you are concerned, and the best course is to check with the doctor, for your own piece of mind, if nothing else,

that doesnt sound so good. just listen to your doctor and take the pills. if she still has this problem after like 2 weeks then return to the doctor.

Seems like a question for your doctor. How often do you take her to the doctor? I had a preemie, and we had to go weekly for the first few months.
