i had sumone out 2day to fix it and he says there's nothing wrong with it, it says it's a worcester 24i/28i combination boiler for central heating & mains fed domestic hot water. I've tried reseting &checkin the water but it's still cold, it makes a noise like it's tryin to do sumthin then just goes quiet & the light starts flashing, it is the fault indicator /reset button that is flashing, i've had 2 people out 2 look at it in the past few days & they can't see wat's wrong, it was workin 2day till 5 same as night b4 which is strange

yup it's a new boiler, someone has already been out 2day 2 take a look at it & says there's nuthin wrong with it, it was workin fine then few hrs after he left it stopped workin, nope it doesnt have four lights on it just one red light in the middle is flashing, there's no fault code either, it sounds like it's tryin 2 light wen i press restart button (red button) the it just starts flashin again

If it's a new flat, is it not a new boiler? If so get the installer/ seller back to fix it! If not, does the boiler have 4 lights like a Cdi model? If so which lights are flashing and what colours, and are they flashing fast or slowly? This information is required to get an idea of the fail point.

Your best bet if you are stuck is to contact Bosch/Worcester and they will send an engineer who will repair it, they know their own boilers.

It isn't gas and electric. It'll be a gas combi the electric is to run the timer. You say you have a red light. without seeing it, it's hard to say what it is. It could have overheated. In which case just leave it for a while, Then try turning it on. Is the flame still burning? Look though the little spy glass to check. If that's gone out you need to re-ignite it. With out knowing the boiler i cant say how todo this. Probably by pushing one of the dials in. It will click a few times then light. Abit like a gas stove. Hope this helps. If you put abit more information to your question I'll try and help further. Hope you get warm water soon.

EXTRA. That does sound a little strange. Are there any shut off valves leading into the boiler on the pipes. Make sure there open using a flat head screwdriver. Also is the timer set correct. Maybe it's just not set to come on yet. Apart from that it's rather hard and dangeous for me to suggest anything without seeing it. Maybe try yellow pages for 24hour boiler repair. It'll cost alot but at least you'll get it sorted, And you'll know how to correct it should this happen again. But like the person below says, If you renting it's down to the landlord to sort so maybe get on to him.
Sorry I cant help anymore. Please be careful when working on the boiler.

Firstly is there enough pressure in the heating circuit? around 1- 1.5 bar on the dial on the front, is there any room stats set so as not to call for heat when you are indeed needing heat, is the boiler set for heating only in the above set up and the stats are too low, when you turn a hot tap does the boiler make a small click/ switching noise but does nothing else if so the air pressure switch or fan may be faulty, contact the landlord he should have a landlords safety cert for the boiler by law(in UK) contact the installer however if it is a new boiler the manufacturer warranty will cover any faults in the first year.

The red light is an overload device. Sometime s resets when you press it May be the boiler settings or water pressure. The water is on OK isn't it.Try switching the central heating off and just run the taps, Does the boiler light. If not you will need a gas engineer. If you are renting it's down to the landlord If buying its down to you unless the boiler is under some sort of yearly maintenance contract,

Is there no fault code on the display?

Some of the Bosch combi's display a fault code that will tell you the exact fault-
