my friend in her 40's just got divorced last year, she is meeting men on the internet and going on dates and sleeping with some of them, she's not a bad person, she was married for 23yrs, I'm just afraid she is going to meet the wrong person or end up with some type of disease, do you think she is going hog wild because she was married for so long?

If you knew me, you'd know I'm far from a prude, I am divorced myself, and I am her confidant, she tells me everything and calls crying when she gets' hurt.

She better be careful, these men will tell her what she wants to hear because they have ulterior motives on their minds. Not only is she going hog wild, she lost her mind somewhere down the road.

Well I think she is going all out or at least doing all the things she wants to before if ever getting back into a relationship that could stop it all. It's OK. She may have some issuse that she feels she is treating in her own way. If I ever got divorced I would become a huge slut! Every chance I could I would probably, of course using protection. It' is not bad to date alot of people, you gotta know who you want and to find that person it means getting out there and looking. Are you married? go with her. have fun.

If she is meeting a lot of different men and sleeping with them also she is in danger of not only someone hurting her, but some kind of disease. Hog wild is mild compared to what she is doing. Crazy more like it.

I don't see anything wrong with what she's doing - quit being such a prude. She's in her 40s and can still get a bunch of dates? Way to go! Would you rather see her moping around feeling sorry for herself? Geesh.

you need tohelp her out. especially if she has children. ia m o nly sixteen years old and my mom has done something similar. she hasn't ever slept with an y of the men that she met, but she went out on dates with them a lot and occasionally would stay out way too late. it's uneasy on the children. people shouldn't do crazy t hings after they get divorced because it makes them seem desperate. what seems like letting go is actually a need for attention. and not from just guys.

She's 40 years old, Honey. She's an adult. Right or wrong, she has a right to live her life however the heck she wants to. You can be concerned, and let her know that, but other than that....it's not your place to mother her. Just pray for her safety, and be there when and if she needs you.

This is not unusual behavior for a recent divorcee in her 40's. Leave her alone.

It's possible. Talk to her and point out the potential dangers of her behavior. It sounds like you are a good friend.

I think it is absolutely none of your business. Be happy for your friend and do not interfere with her life.
