It's been more than a month since I gave birth via CS and the stitch has a thread abt an inch sticking out and a piece of gauze or cotton. Do I need to puncture the skin again?

Don't try to pull on it; you could re-open the wound and cause an infection.
I would go back to the doctor, they will tell you what to do.
They may just cut it down and let your body grow over it. I had this happen when I had my appendectomy and my body eventually grew skin over it.

Don't try to do anything yourself. Contact your doctor and have them look at it. There could be some underlying issues with it that you can't see. Good luck.

You should not remove it. Call your dr. If she is anything like my dr. she will have you come in the back door and take care of it for you real quick!

i definetely would not do anything to it yourself. call your doctor and make an appointment. they will be able to do it safely without you getting an infection. this sounds a little serious.
