Generally speaking how hard would it be to rebuild an 86 Cadillac coupe deville? I bought it for $150 The guy blew the gasket and kept driving it, then the engine block cracked. Also roughly how much will i be looking at in parts? The car only has 50k miles on it and the interior and exterior are in great condition so i think it will be a cool project.

If the block is cracked, I would consider a salvage engine. You can pick one up for a couple hundred bucks. If the car is really nice, you can buy remanufactured engines for considerably more. Good luck.
