repairman. I build those closet space savers. She thinks I'm an attorney. I hate lying to her. I'm so sad.

First of all how long you've been hiding this & how long you've been married to her??? Well I think when you get married you should be honest from the beginning. You're crazy lol... How can she believe you're an attorney & you're a closet repairman? It all depends on how long you've been hiding it for. I've been married now for 6 years & there's no way I will leave my husband for hiding something like that. Another thing, if she really loves "no" I dont think she'll leave you, but keep something in mind though. When you lie to someone about the petiest thing, and when the truth its uncovered, it will be hard for them to trust you. And when you're really telling the truth she's gonna think you're lying all the time. Also, its gonna make her think about what else did you lie to her about if you lied to her about something that stupid & hide it from her for so long. Boyyyyyyyyyyy she's gonna be pist. lol...

How is it that you make as much money as an attorney? Thats alot of broken closets and space savers. just come home one day and say "honey I lost my job today and I was so broke up about letting you down and not being able to provide you with the lifestyle we have grown accustomed to that I stopped in at this place( insert company name ) and inquired about a job, they hired me on the spot and I start tommorow!" Of course what did she think you were carring around with you? your tools must fit in a briefcase.

Your wife?!?!?! I'd understand a girl friend but how the heck did you marry this girl and she has never found out what you do for a living??? Something seems wrong there. To answer your question, if she loves you than it shouldn't matter what you do but since you waited so long to come clean she has a right to be super pissed at you. Unless your convince she married you cause she thinks your a lawyer than you need to come clean before somebody she knows needs an attorney and she recommends you!

Keeping secrets from your spouse isn't a smart thing to do. You should tell her the truth. If she really loves you then she will stay. If she leaves you then I would say that she really didn't love you and she only loved you because of you being an attorney. I would stay with my husband even if he lied about what he did for work. Although I know that he really is a chemist. Hope that I've helped.

Well that's a tough 1...If she really likes u and she's the special someone just 4 u I don't think she'll h8 u if u tell her the truth...maybe she'll be mad at u 4 lying 2 her but that's ok if ur really sorry...the truth shall set u free....'cuz sooner of later she might find out and that won't be good....
but if she leaves u...than get a new gf and move on with ur life...if dat don't work than i don't know wut else 2 tell ya...

First is she really that shallow? I would say no. I believe in being honest even if it hurts the other. Atleast then you would know if she loves you just for who you are. I would love just to have someone who cared that much about my happiness. but happiness and love must be unconditional on both ends give her credit . I believe she would be more upsetthat you felt that she would not love you no matter what you are. Attorneys are not that exciting. JUst be honest it will work out may take awhile but i have faith it will.

It depends..how long have you guys been married? Did she fall in love with you as a person or you as the attorney? If she loves you for you then she'll definitely forgive you but probably not forget because if you lied to her about something like this and for so long then she will always question your motives about other situations. If my Fiance did that to me then he would lose so much of my trust. Good Luck! There is only one way to go.."ripe it off like a bandaid".

If a closet repairman makes that kind of money, then my hubby is in the wrong business! You should certainly tell her....she would have your house so much more organized if she knew you could do it for her for FREE!!!!

I heard the home refurbishing busness was good but I never thought that the payday was that good.
I think you might need to come clean regarding your profession. Tell her you need to change carriers because you cannot lie anymore.
Once you are no longer an officer of the court you will be able to tell the truth and clear your conscience.
