I love

"Spaced" - a British comedy show written by comedy genius Simon Pegg.
"Father Ted" - not strictly Bitish as it is set in Ireland - bloody funny though.
"Extras" - Ricky Gervais at his best.
"Garth Merengies Dark Place" - Great hospital horror spoof
"Open All Hours" - I sssssayyy GGGGGGGranville!!! The late, great Ronnie Barker.

"Frasier" - best comedy show ever written
"Ugly Betty" - Lovin it
"My Name is Earl" - Brilliantly written
"Friends" - of course
"Simpsons" - How can it still be so fresh and funny?
"American Dad" - so much funnier than "Family Guy"

the best brit comedy show
"are you being served?"
this show was just pure genius. the later years weren't as good when some of the original cast had left the show and were replaced. but those first 5 seasons, pure pure genius.

best american show
