Dr. Browns are by far the best if there are gas/colic type issues with your baby.

Avent is another favorite of people.

We use the Gerbert Comfort bottles and have never had any problems with them.

The most ideal thing to do is try a couple different types over a few weeks, and see which one your baby seems to prefer, or do better with. That's the only way to know. Your baby is the best judge....not us. Some like the fancy, expensive ones, and some may prefer the cheesiest, cheapest ones out there! If you have a baby with colic, or excessive gas, then that's when you need to try the pricier ones...like; playtex nursers, or playtex vent-air, or the avent. But if your baby has no troubles, I'd keep it simple. Hope that helps. Good luck

its not really the bottle that counts its the nipples. I had to go threw three different nipples till i found the one my son liked the most. Bottles r all the same i get the cheap one ,just make sure u burp ur baby good,i also put gas med. in his bottles like 2-3 times a day that will cut down on gas. A baby is gonna get collic no matter what kind of bottle u get Both my babies never got collic.

i used avent, but the best brand is the one your baby likes. period. if the baby really likes the soothies, then by all means, that is the best one for you. we eventually had to switch up the bottles for a while, because she started refusing anything (breast milk, formula, whatever...) in a bottle for a while. then, the cheapie gerbers (3 for $2) were the lucky ticket.

First of all, a bottle is a bottle. I had both brands too, and went with the Dr. Brown's because everyone is using them now. My first child had regular gerber bottles, and she's perfectly healthy at 3 1/2. Don't sweat the small stuff, and let your baby use whichever bottle he/she prefers. As long as she's eating, and not too gassy, I wouldn't worry. Good luck!

The best kind of bottle is the one that does what it is supposed to! If your baby isn't fighting off the bottle you gave, then it is fine! Yer a first time parent, aren't you, Sweetheart?;) You are a good one. But save the money and get your baby a nice new outfit from Walmart!

I will choose Dr. Brown by far. Both of my children used Dr. Brown and I hardly had to burp them. You will see no bubbles in the formula or milk because there is no trapped air.
