i don't comprehend if it became the worst parenting suggestion I gained, notwithstanding it became the stupidest. i became instructed by technique of my pal(who had no toddlers) that i turned right into a foul mom for no longer using a 4 wheel force automobile and that i ought to pass out and get one or i did not care about the protection of my newborn. It wasn't like i became using round in a bike with a facet automobile. I had an fairly effective mini van that dealt with okay in winters and strong protection good factors. some human beings ought to imagine more advantageous earlier they communicate.

It's easier to remember the good advice they gave me. Young people seem to think of parents as THE ENEMY who just wants to spoil your good time. When you have children of your own you will remember their advice and wish you had listened better.
Parents are only trying to spare you from making the same mistakes they did, thereby sparing you a world of hurt. Sometimes though you have to hurt in order to learn a lesson. I can see reading some of these answers that a bunch of you have a lot to learn. A better question would have been,
WHAT DID YOUR PARENTS TELL YOU TO DO AND YOU DIDN'T LISTEN, BUT YOU WISH YOU HAD?

I parents never gave me bad advice. The worst thing is I never listened. My father has this annoying habit of being right about 99.99% of the time.

My mother told me not to get a divorce even though I was miserable- I am soooo glad I did not listen to her. She was married for 30 years to an alcoholic (my father) and I figured that if she cannot figure out her own life, she is in no position to give advice to others.

I don't really recall any bad advice.. They often didn't make me follow through on stuff, though. They weren't tough enough on me. I was the "baby" and my older brother and sister still say I was spoiled rotten.

My mom has never given me a bad advise, but on the other hand my father did, he advised me to stay in a country where he was shiped (he is in the Air Force), and I hated it! too many gangs in there! :(
