No, because our bodies aren't meant to last that long.
There is a myth of a man who was granted immortality by the gods, but he hadn't asked for immortal youth--imagine being stuck as an arthritic, bald, half-blind, nearly deaf individual
forever--not to mention seeing all your family and friends die out while you just keep on living. Not a pleasant prospect, that.

I assume by Guinea Pig, you aren't referring to the animal.
I wouldn't mind being immortal, however I would have to make sure that the aging process stopped. It would suck to live forever but continue to age, you'd be nasty by the time you hit 500 years old.

why not... It would make me lose all my inhabitions. I would kill everyone muhuhahahahaha. I mean learn everything possible and and and make stuff and not worry about eating and stuff like warmth and bleeding so i could disfigure myself to the point of being a demon covered in spikes chain and horns to better my killing carreer with. ummmmmmmmmmm, i mean *hack* to better humanity i believe it is in the best interest to leave imortality to the select few like it is now...

no...once is enough, living till you die is hard enough because you have to go through losing people you love as it is, would one really want to go through that on and on again forever?Living through all the wars that might come to be...look at all the bad thing that can happen in our normal life span, what would someone have to go through that lives forever
