For a 44 oz. container, you would add 2 oz. of roundup and 42 oz. of water. There are 8 oz in a cup. so 2 oz. would be a quarter of a cup.

Add 1/4 cup Roundup, and fill with water.

Since you use the word "yard" where I might have used "garden" I presume you are American. In the American measurement system a ("fluid") ounce is 1/16 of a US pint, and at 8 pints to the gallon is therefore 1/128th of a US gallon (16 oz to the pint and 8 pints to the gallon = 128 oz to the gallon).
So the ratio needed is 6 oz of Roundup to 128 oz of water = 6:128 = 1:21.33, so for each 22.33 oz of mixed liquid you would have 1 oz of Roundup and 21.33 oz of water. With a container of 44 oz, if you put in 2 oz of Roundup and top the container up with water, this would only be a cat's whisker away from the ideal mixture. Hope this helps.

Your container is an odd size at 44oz. since 6 cups is 48oz.

1 gallon is 128 oz.

44 oz /128 oz x 100% = 34%

34% x 6oz = .34 x 6oz = 2.1oz

Round off to 2 oz for your 44 oz

2 oz.
A gallon is 128 oz.
Your container is just over 1/3 gal. (you will make about 1/3 gallon of product)
If you use 1/3 of the 6 oz, you will use 2 oz.
44 oz (your container) - 2 oz (roundup) = 42 oz water
42 x 3 = 126 oz (about a gallon)
So you need 2 oz of roundup.

since a gallon is 128 oz and 44 oz is about 1/3 of a gallon therefore use 1/3 of 6 oz which is 2 oz

depends what type of weeds you are trying to get rid of,i cant do the maths for you,but if you got things like ivy etc,i use a lot stronger than what they recommend, ive been using pathclear this year it doesnt seem to be working too well so i might switch to roundup,i think they have weakened things down because of organo-phosphates,how bout trying a gas type flame gun?

12 oz, for every gallon (16 oz) you add 6 oz (total of 22) so the ratio is 6/22 or 27% of the total volume, 27% of 44 oz is 12 oz.
