First point, there is no end of the World. Fundamentally, Generations may end.

How generations may come to end?
1.) Changing Culture
2.) Changing Economic
3.) Changing Eco-system
4.) Growing Technology(biological weapon, Nuclear weapon & Nuclear Waste)
These points contribute, huge portion to end of Generations and it is in our hands to decide, whether it should happen Near or Far.

Well, who knows - hopefully it's a way off yet, but it's inevitable at some point.

We'll either all get wiped out by some catastrophic virus that will sweep the world, nuke ourselves or get hit by a mammoth asteroid or meteor.

Hope I'm not around when it does happen.

Baring some idiotic science team that gene spices AIDs and makes it airborne or some terrorist exploding an A bomb, far far away.

At least 300 to 800 years minimum. That's when we start running out of resources, room and food.

don't know do you mean the end of humans or the planet itself because one is very different from the other an asteroid impact could wipe out life but stands no chance of actual shattering the earth
