I am currently trying to play Final Fantasy XI again. But I do not want to play it on the pc and I do not own an XBOX 360 either. So my only other option is the PS2. I need to know if I can still play it on the new smaller version of the PS2. I can see that it has an output cable on the back and spaces for a keyboard. But any information would be very helpful.

No, I'm afraid you can't. YOu have to have a hard drive for the PS2 to run FFXI. It needs it so it can dowload patches if nothing else. The new slim PS2 doesn't have a bay for the hard drive, so it can't play the game. Sorry, in this case your only real option is the PC.

Final Fantasy XI requires the HDD to play.

The HDD cannot connect with the newer, slimmer PS2.

Play on the PC, and I'll play with ya :D

very last fantasy XI is the mmo in the finest fantasy sequence. you do not merely purchase and play. you ought to pay a month-to-month fee to Play on line (sq.'s on line service) same to WoW or different video games. it really is nice universal, you factor up each and each and every class man or woman and would replace as you spot in good structure yet you lose your "factor" once you accomplish that. it will be well worth attempting it you are able to borrow a replica and note in case you want it. I wasn't a large fan of it and provides up after a month. (I also provide up WoW after 3 months nonetheless, so i'd merely no longer be a mmo man or woman)
