We have a small company offering household budgeting and credit supervision and we would like to advertise on Internet. Does anybody know what is the best web site or company that provides services like that?

Have you thought about pay per click programs? The two biggest, I think, are Yahoo! and Google

A few free resources – check out the sources box for links:

1) Create a blog pertaining to your field

2) Use Yahoo! Local & Yahoo! Groups – Be sure to read the TOS for each one!

3) Write articles pertaining to your field and/or expertise.

4) Advertise on Craiglist

Also, consider signing up for an affiliate program. These programs enable you to advertise on other's sites (your affiliates) and once a sale is made to you, your affiliates & the program are paid a commission.

I listed a few handy sites & articles relating to marketing, promotion & advertising. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

* Entrepreneur Magazine's Ultimate Small Business Marketing Guide: Over 1500 Great Marketing Tricks That Will Drive Your Business Through the Roof by James Stephenson

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

Hi! You ca use a number of ways to advertise your company like e-mail, use orkut and create a community there and you will be able to advertise a lot.

You can use Yahoo to create a website at an affordable price.

Best of luck for your company I wish your company a very bright future.

You might take a look at the Advertising Resources page of the Internet Advertising Board websit (http://www.iab.com). Also, LeadConnect (http://www.leadconnect.com) may be a good source as well.

Yahoo and Google both offer targeted pay per click advertising. Other than that, I would check out sites like commission junction that allow you to pay a commission only when someone uses your service.

hi, from my view point, it depends on your target audience that you wish to seek and the services you would like to provide..local, regional and advertising is mainly for branding, what about marketing of your products & services? How is anyone going to know what are the advantages etc? There's tons of website, some are even free depending on how you intend to work with them....plan before you act...coz its not just about getting 'cheap' advertising...its about the returns....

Does your business have a website?
If no, then that would be my first step.
If you do have a site, build inbound links to your website.
Most of the directories online charge a one time fee to review your site and add it to their index. Here are three of my favorites:

http://www.kahmer.com

The more inbound links to your site, the better you will rank with Yahoo / Google / MSN.
Also work on your meta tags. Here is an
article on how they work: http://www.richkahmer.com/meta-tags.html
