No, I have never been fired. I have been "laid off" due to budget cutbacks and such, but not fired and certainly not because of Y!A. I am currently looking for a new job because the one I have is ending.

If you are doing YA at work you should be fired. Wasting time at work is the same as stealing. You are getting paid to work, not just to be there as seems to be the attitude of a lot of people these days. Don't you realize that your internet use is monitored?
In addition to stealing, you are putting your company's computer system at risk to viruses, corruption, etc. Do YA on your own time.
