I'm at home and not at work and you are right about those at work. None the less they are adults and able to decide for themselves whether on not they should do this. Kids are by LAW obligated to be at school and be doing school work. I spent over 40 years working and deserve to be goofing off. I got a good education enabling me to spend this time. Do your homework and you'll see in the long run.

Little girl school is for learning, not surfing the web for fun things to do that are non related to your school work. I do work, but I don't go to work until 2:30 pm. So I can pretty much do what I want before that. I hope this has answered your question to "why do adults get mad that students are getting on Y!A at school".....I really don't think it's the students adults like myself should be mad at, it's the School for allowing it or not paying attention.

Please! You are a child and you have a lot to learn. Adults don't just work during the day. A lot of adults work evening shifts also there are a lot of people that work from home as well. Some adults are stay at home moms or dads...now get off Yahoo Answers and do your school work!

some adults get mad because school is where your supposed to be getting an education, and not playing on the internet during class. Now some adults may be at work doing this some may not. And have you every thought that the adults who are not at work are going to college so they can further there career.

I don't know why, because the adults can't say nothing when they are on yahoo answers too. We can do anything that we want. They need to mind their own business! I'm 16 years old and I can get on yahoo answers at school if I want or if the librarian let me!

I'm in college and my teacher really don't mind because I'm getting my work done 5 times faster then anyone else, autocad is really easy. lol
wait a second I'm the only one here I'm all alone so my teach don't care, because I at lease show up to school unlike everyone else

Because we already got our education and finished school.How are you supposed to do anything with your life if you're on yahoo every day,when you should be paying attention in class? You're generation is supposed to be our future. If you spend it on yahoo,we're in a lot of trouble. OYE VAY!! And I for one, am not supposed to be at work right now. I work nights and I don't spend my work time on yahoo.Thank you. Now get back to class. :)

If you are so smart about all of us, see if you can get me back to work. All the dr's and surgeons haven't been able to do it yet. I was leaving work when a semi ran a red light and hit my truck. After 3 back surgeries with rods, pins, and fusion, I still have ongoing nerve burns, shot's in my back and knees, etc. Please help get me back to work.

stop playing around at school, do your school work and maybe you too can have a job where you only can work 3rd shift and have time to play on the net during the day.
